A microwave to replace your Nespresso?

The big advantage of the Nespresso and co devices is their speed of preparation. On the other hand, using a Moka machine, you can be more involved in your coffee preparation.

Gemodo Coffee gmbh, a German innovative company, had recently to combine the advantage of the two systems, using the microwave as link, with their Piamo device.

Here is the official description :

"Simply fill in water and insert an espresso pad or ground coffee. Stack it, flip it and place piamo in your microwave. Now your microwave does all the magic: due to heating pressure builds up and makes the water run through the coffee, creating your fresh espresso straight into your cup within 30 seconds. Time to enjoy! Then just place piamo in your dishwasher or rinse it"
