Jif Hazelnut Spread : is salted caramel to become the trendy flavor of the year?

Jif, which was until now more known for ist peanut butter, recently launched hazelnut spread (ie a Nutella-like product). They offer it in 3 varieties, including salted caramel. It is quite interesting to see how salted caramel is becoming a trendy flavor, not only in France (where it comes from?) but in UK and US also.
